• 任職建築師的詹瀚霖弟兄已為教會完成兩套建築草圖 (請點擊此處參閱)
• 擴堂計劃第二個設計工作坊已於三月二十五日順利舉行

(1)     弟兄姊妹討論兩套建築草圖的利弊，亦將意見向設計小組反應

• 擴堂計劃籌款小組宣佈教會將於五月二十七日舉行擴堂籌款晚會

二月

• 2月26日出版了第二期擴堂通訊 (請點擊此處參閱)

一月

• 會員大會順利舉行, 麥城會員通過接納立案法團之成立，並授權執事會將所有教會事務移交給立案法團。
• 設計小組於1月15日完成新大樓功能設計網上問卷調查
• 1月22日出版了第一期擴堂通訊 (請點擊此處參閱)
• 齊賀新禧特色茶點籌款活動 在1月22日順利舉行
• 英語堂積極推動擴堂籌款活:

1. 「為袮唱 」,  青少年團契的弟兄姐妹紛紛踴躍地自動請纓,以卡拉OK風格演繹歌曲, 在四十分鐘內籌得500加元!
2. 英語堂和青少年團契的弟兄姐妹踴躍地參與擴堂認獻箱奉獻

2012 Progress Update

Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored," says the Lord. (Haggai 1:8)

March

• Received 2 sets of draft architectural renderings prepared by our brother in Christ, Henry Jim (click here to preview)
• Expansion Project Design Workshop #2 was completed on March 25.

(1) Brothers and sisters discussed the pros and cons of the two draft architectural renderings and provided feedback to the Design Team.

• Fundraising Team has launched the Expansion Project Fundraising Gala initiative, which will be held on May 27

February

• Volume 2 Expansion Project Newsletter was published on February 26. (click here to preview)

January

• Special Family Meeting was held and the motion of Markham Christian Community Church Incorporation was approved and adopted.   The members of MCCC have authorized the ECB to transfer all church business matters to the new corporation.
• Design team conducted the “Functionality Questionnaire” to collect more feedbacks and ideas from brothers and sisters.
• Our first quarterly newsletter was published on Jan 22. (click here to preview)
• As part of the fundraising initiatives, brothers and sisters well supported our “Special Sunday Refreshment”.  Our theme for January was “Chinese New Year celebrations”.
• The youth in the English Ministry has initiated fundraising activities for the expansion project.

1. “Sing for a Cause” – Brothers and sisters volunteered to sing in karaoke style!  It was fun and memorable! Brothers and sisters in M.A.D. and UCC offered a total of $500 in less than 40 minutes!
2. “MCCC Building Fund Offering Box” – every penny counts, brothers and sisters are offering their lunch and coffee money!
